This is going from bad to worse - 4 months without an update! Either I've mislaid the paper I made my rough diary notes on, or I didn't work on the car until December!

13 December 2003 (1.5 hours)

Finally managed to fix the gas leak in my welder. Started to tack on front suspension brackets.

16 December 2003 (4 hours)

Finished aligning and tack welding front suspension brackets. Cleaned up second Cortina hub and painted with red lead.

18 December 2003 (2 hours on car couple of hours buying parts)

Tack welded brackets in place at rear for training arm mounts. Visited BOC and rented welding gas bottle. Visited Metal Supermarket. Got them to cut tubes for trailing arms and panhard rod and also bought steel for steering rack mount and engine mounting plates.

21 December 2003 (2 hours)

Started to cut the "fishmouths" to join the square tube on the trailing links to the round tube for the bush tubes. Painted the hub and upright with the first coat of yellow.
